Scanning is a different story.
Under OSX the only way to scan is to be included really bare bones basic HP Scan software.
This software does not have a choice other than the resolution you want to scan and if you want to save as jpg, pdf or email (no TIFF).
OSX does not recognize the device as a scanner. This means that any program like OSX built in Image Capture, Preview, or 3rd party program like VueScan can not be used.
It was a complete disappointment because I was the only reason to get a multifunction printer is already built in scanner function. HP should not be advertising this as OSX compatible devices if they work like this.
